Is Baby Hele free?
Yes. Baby Hele is free to download on the App Store, and white noise and the nightlight stay free. To use every sound blend, all music, playlists, Autoplay and saved routines, start the optional seven-day trial in the app. To keep everything afterward, buy Full Access once for US$1.99, with local prices shown by Apple. There’s no subscription, no automatic charge and no Baby Hele account.
What happens when my trial ends?
If something is already playing, it keeps going, so bedtime isn’t interrupted. After that, white noise and the nightlight stay free, and Full Access unlocks everything else whenever you’re ready.
I already bought Baby Hele. Do I pay again?
No. If you bought Baby Hele before it became free, you keep full access. If the app ever asks, open About and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account.
Which sounds does Baby Hele include?
Choose white noise, pink noise, brown noise, fan or rain. Mix them together and adjust each sound’s level. The sounds are generated on your phone, so playback does not need downloaded tracks or an internet connection.
Can I listen to music too?
Yes. Music has its own section with 62 songs in eight packs: Nursery Rhymes, Little Melodies, Sung Lullabies, Hele Humming, Sleepy Piano, Warm Harmonies, Gentle Jazz and Night Feed Lo-fi. Download a pack or a single song once, then build an ordered or shuffled playlist. The play button beside a downloaded song plays it in full, and Autoplay can continue through your other downloaded songs until your timer or three hours. Music and sound blends play separately, so a song never joins your noise mix.
Do I need internet?
Only to download music. Sounds are generated on your phone and work offline right away. Once a song is downloaded, it stays on your phone and plays offline. Two hidden bonus songs download automatically when you’re connected.
Is this noise cancellation or sound masking?
Baby Hele uses sound masking: a steady background sound can make changes in surrounding noise less noticeable. It does not use a microphone or create anti-noise to cancel sound, and it is not a baby monitor.
Does it work with the screen locked?
Yes. Start a sound session and lock your phone to continue playback. Use a timed session or choose playback until you stop it. Calls and audio interruptions may stop a session. The screen nightlight is available while the app is open.
Which phones does it support?
Baby Hele is available now for iPhone running iOS 17 or later. The Android version, for Android 8.0 or later, is in beta testing; join the Android beta to try it early.
