The app

Baby Hele generates sounds and plays music locally on your device. Version 1.0 bundles its music; versions 1.1 and later download it as described below. It does not require a Baby Hele account, access your microphone, record audio, track your activity or send your sound preferences to us. We do not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs in the app.

Music downloads in version 1.1

Version 1.0 bundles its music. Version 1.1 generates sounds offline and downloads music from babyhele.com when requested; two bonus songs download automatically when a connection is available. Downloads send ordinary network request information to our hosting provider Vercel to deliver and secure the files. Vercel may retain source IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, client/user-agent and TLS information, requested song-file paths, request times and technical diagnostics. This information can be associated with the same network/client. It is used for file delivery, security and service operation; it is not advertising tracking. Vercel handles service-generated information under its own privacy notice. We do not upload playback events, playlists or listening duration. Automatic bonus downloads mean these requests can occur whenever the app connects, before you request another song. We do not add app analytics, advertising identifiers, an account or listening-history tracking. Once downloaded, songs play offline and remain on your phone until the app is removed. Downloadable music is excluded from our app backup configuration. Autoplay preferences and the three-hour continuation prompt are stored only on your device.

Settings on your device

Your sound mix, volume, timer, saved routines and nightlight preferences are stored locally using platform settings storage. We do not receive these settings. On iOS, device backups may be handled by Apple according to your iCloud and device settings. The Android app disables standard app backup; device manufacturers may handle device-to-device transfers according to their own settings. Deleting the app removes its local settings; restoring a device backup may restore them.

Purchases and store services

Apple processes App Store payments and Google processes Google Play payments. We do not receive your payment-card details. These stores may provide developers with sales reports and diagnostic information according to their services and your sharing choices. Apple’s and Google’s privacy practices apply to those services.

Version 1.2: trials and full access

The seven-day trial starts only when you choose to start it. On iOS, Apple handles the free trial transaction and optional full-unlock purchase through StoreKit. Baby Hele checks Apple-verified transaction information, including purchase dates and revocation status, and the original app acquisition to recover eligible earlier purchases. On Android, once the trial is enabled in a future update, it will start locally on your device, and Google Play will handle the separate optional full-unlock purchase. The app verifies Google Play purchase information and confirms completed purchases with Google.

For offline access, iOS stores verified access status, the trial start date and timing information in device-only Keychain storage. Android stores trial timing, the verified purchase token and any outstanding purchase-confirmation token in encrypted storage excluded from app backup. Both apps also store pending-checkout or recovery information locally. These records help determine access and prevent a device-clock change from restarting a trial; they are not listening history. Baby Hele does not upload these local access records to our servers or connect them to your website beta signup.

Apple and Google retain purchase records under their own policies; removing the app does not delete those store records. iOS Keychain access records may remain after the app is removed. Android access storage is removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled; a store purchase can be checked again through Restore purchases. The trial does not automatically become a paid subscription. No Baby Hele account, payment-card collection, advertising or app analytics is added.

When you contact us

If you email hello@babyhele.com, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond to and resolve your request, and retain it only as needed for that purpose and applicable obligations. Avoid sending recordings of your baby or other sensitive information. Contact us to request deletion of your support correspondence.

Optional website beta signup

Adults can volunteer through our website for Android beta testing. The iPhone app is available on the App Store, so new iPhone beta signups are no longer accepted. We collect your email address, chosen platform, consent version and request/confirmation times. We verify your email before enrolling you, then use it for beta instructions, invitations and related feedback requests. This is separate from the offline app and does not create an app account.

Vercel runs the form, a dedicated Supabase database in Singapore stores the signup, and Hostinger sends the emails. Authorized Android tester email addresses may be added to Google Play’s closed-test list; Google handles installation and testing through its own services. We store invitation status and, for Android, an assigned app-download code. If your invitation uses a testing Google Group, Google manages your group membership and Play test opt-in. We do not sell the list or share it for advertising.

We keep unconfirmed requests for up to seven days and confirmed signup records for up to 180 days after the latest request. Sent and failed email queue records are normally removed after 30 days; unresolved queued, sending or uncertain-delivery records remain until resolved or your signup is removed; sent copies and support replies may remain in our mailbox as needed to manage the beta. Removal links in our beta emails delete your signup and cancel queued messages. Contact hello@babyhele.com for removal from store tester lists or correspondence. A message already being sent may still arrive. Salted IP hashes are retained for up to two days to limit abusive requests; hosting providers may keep their own security logs.

Promised full access for beta testers

For participating testers whose previously promised free access has been reviewed, a separate private record will hold eligibility approval, platform and product, a reference to participation evidence, an assigned full-unlock code and its expiry, and email delivery status and times. Redemption status will be recorded only when it can actually be verified, with a reference to that evidence. Registering an email does not itself grant a purchase or establish eligibility. Supabase stores these records and Hostinger sends fulfillment emails as part of the beta offer.

Removing your signup will cancel queued fulfillment emails and remove the ledger’s link to your subscriber record. Eligibility, code reservations, delivery history and any verified redemption record will remain without your signup email or subscriber link so that a potentially used code is never issued again. Evidence references must not contain personal details; any separate support correspondence or participation evidence is handled through our privacy-request process. Removing a website signup does not revoke a store purchase or remove Google Group membership. A fulfillment email already being sent may still arrive.

The beta signup page does not load analytics. Confirmation and removal tokens are passed in URL fragments and cleared when the page opens. We do not ask for children’s names, birth dates, health information or recordings.

This website

This site is hosted by Vercel. Hosting providers process technical request information such as IP address, browser information and request time to deliver and secure the site. Email is handled through our email provider. We do not use advertising cookies. Optional website analytics is described below. Visiting external links is subject to those services’ privacy practices.

Optional website analytics

If you choose “Allow analytics,” this website loads Google Analytics to help us understand page visits, traffic sources and engagement. Google processes browser and device information, page addresses, timestamps, cookie identifiers and network information needed to receive requests. We do not send your app activity, sound preferences, support emails or payment information to Analytics.

Analytics does not load until you opt in. We disable advertising personalization and Google signals in our tag and remove query strings and fragments from the page address we send. We use standard page measurement without enhanced link, form or site-search tracking. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Your choice is stored on this browser for up to six months. Analytics cookies are configured for up to six months. You can refuse or withdraw consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawal stops future collection and removes this site’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase reports already processed. Blocking cookies or Analytics does not affect use of the website or the Baby Hele app.

Parents and children

Baby Hele is intended to be operated by parents and other adult family members. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.
